Sample Adult Violin Lesson Plan
Week 1:
- Warm-up with simple scales (5-10 minutes)
- Learn a favorite simple melody (Twinkle Twinkle Little Star or any pop song)
- Introduce basic bowing techniques
- Play along with a backing track or recorded accompaniment
Week 2:
- Focus on posture and hand position
- Play through the previous melody, but add dynamics (soft/loud)
- Begin sight-reading simple sheet music
- Fun challenge: Play a tune to share with family or friends by the end of the week
