RAMP FOUNDATION

INTRODUCTION

Founded in 2014, the RAMP Foundation supports the long-term development of music education at RAMP Violin Academy by promoting access to quality instruments, musical resources, and meaningful learning opportunities.

Over the years, the Foundation has evolved alongside the Academy’s growth. Today, it supports students through educational initiatives such as instrument support, performance opportunities, and exposure to fine string instruments, helping young musicians deepen their musical understanding and artistic expression.

A key focus of the RAMP Foundation is its Instrument Collection and Educational Use Programme. The Academy maintains a carefully curated collection of antique French violins and French bows, selected for their craftsmanship, tonal qualities, and educational value. These instruments are used for guided trials, advanced study, and selected loan opportunities, allowing students to experience the responsiveness and tonal depth of fine instruments.

By providing access to high-quality instruments, the RAMP Foundation aims to support talented students in their musical development, encourage artistic growth, and help young musicians communicate their music with greater confidence and clarity.

RAMP Foundation

INTRODUCTION

RAMP Foundation was founded in 2014 to expand awareness of and appreciation for classical music. Responsible for fund raising activities that support ongoing development and sustainability of the Academy. It provides services and funding for classical music education, performances, and artists, to benefit listeners and learners alike. Current projects include an Instrument Loan Program.

The RAMP Foundation’s Instrument Loan Program allows young artists to benefit from the use of high-quality instruments. The goal of this program is to help talented students and young musicians with high quality instruments that encourages their growth as musicians and enables them to communicate their music more effectively. Instruments currently on loan range from fine student level stringed instruments to the rarest of vintage concert instruments.
