DSA (Direct School Admission) VIOLIN Training Program is a unique training program tailored to prepare students for competitive auditions into their choice secondary schools or Junior College. Along with experienced teachers from RAMP Faculty, we will practice specific strategies to demystify Auditions and to help the students play the best they can achieve.
Led by experienced faculty at RAMP Violin Academy, this programme focuses on targeted audition preparation, helping students understand audition requirements, refine their repertoire, and perform with confidence under pressure. Through structured guidance and focused training, students are supported to present their strongest musical abilities during auditions.
RAMP Violin Academy is proud of students who have successfully gained admission through the DSA exercise into schools such as Nanyang Girls’ High School, Raffles Girls’ School, Methodist Girls’ School, Singapore Chinese Girls’ School, Dunman Secondary School, Temasek Secondary School, Victoria Junior College, and Hwa Chong Institution.

P4 (10 years old) to P6 (12 years old)
S1( 13 years old) to S4 (16 years old)

Each DSA training cycle includes:
- 10 intensive individual violin lessons
- 1 masterclass focused on audition performance and musical presentation
- Performance opportunities to showcase progress
- Piano collaboration sessions with a professional accompanist
- Repertoire planning and refinement (current and new works)
- Technical development and musical interpretation
- Audition strategy and performance preparation
This programme is designed to strengthen both technical foundations and stage confidence, supporting students through a focused and realistic DSA preparation journey.
